WebSiphon 2 Appendix: Using with WebSTAR
---
contents
Note: this documentation assumes that the WebSiphon.acgi is located in the cgi-bin directory WebSTAR application.
Installing as an Action
Configuring WebSiphon as an action (or suffix mapping) will instruct WebSTAR to process any files ending with the suffix ".t" using WebSiphon. The suffix ".t" is not required, so you may choose any suffix of your liking on your server. Many users of WebSiphon actually serve all of their ".html" files with the WebSiphon action to process their entire site.
If you are using the plugin version of WebSiphon, you can skip the first step and go directly to setting up your suffix mappings.
- Launch WebSTAR Admin
First, launch the WebSTAR Admin application and connect to your server. If you need help with this step reference the documentation included with WebSTAR.
